10 Years, A Crown and Gone!

The phone was ringing at the 2005 NCTS Champion’s shop on Friday. It went unanswered.

After ten years supporting the series and finally succeeding in capturing the championship Ultra Motorsports is apparently no more. Owner Jim Smith has decided to shut down his operation leaving reigning Champion Ted Musgrave scrambling for a new ride as the ‘06 season fast approaches.

Jim Utter is reporting Musgrave has contacted Billy Ballew Motorsports, among others, hoping to join a team that is already fielding the #15 Chevrolet for rookie Kyle Krisiloff this season.
