2 Superspeedways, 2 Wins for Annett
Michael Annett wanted to grow up to be a professional hockey player. A strange avocation for someone growing up in Iowa as he did.
An even stranger transformation occurred age of 16 when Annett got his first chance behind the wheel of a racecar. As they say the rest is history, he added to his resume Saturday evening by winning his second superspeedway event in succession at Daytona.
The first was history making as he rode a Bill Davis Toyota home to a Talladega win, his first, and Toyota’s first ever ARCA RE/MAX Series win.
Saturday making his first Daytona start he dominated in the BDR Toyota and padded his record to include two wins, three top-fives and five top-10s in five ARCA starts.
