2008 Weblog Awards
As luck would have it you, my loyal readership, won’t have to compromise your ethics or diminish your self-worth this year.
Full Throttle and it’s Half-Vast Staff failed to make the final and voting stage of this years Weblog Awards.
They say to be nominated is an honor, but how does that work when you nominate yourself?
However, you’re not totally off the hook because you can’t stuff my ballot box, there are worthy alternatives to FT.
Oliver White’s Blog F1 is a finalist in the Sports category.
The Formula One oriented Sidepodcast is nominated in the Best Online Community category and as the blogosphere’s Best Podcast.
NOTE: Click each category link above to vote in that category. Voting continues through Jan. 13th and you are able to vote once each 24 hour period.

I think it’s a shame you’re not in the running, Marc. It would have been awesome to have had 3 motorsport sites in the Sports category. But maybe next year we can all get nominated (even some of the other fantastic motorsport sites out there as well) and dominate the Weblog Awards.
Thanks Ollie, but it took 4 years to get more than 1 racing blog into the finals.
The chances to get more than 2 are slim to none, to say nothing of have that many dilute the vote between them.
