7 Days Late and a Big Mouth Short
Looks like F1 Ace Ass Jenson Button is feeling the heat after his remarks a week ago on female drivers competing in his choosen profession.
Jenson made the comments about women racers to FHM Magazine, stating that “one week of the month you wouldn’t want to be on the circuit with them, would you? A girl with big boobs would never be comfortable in the car, and the mechanics wouldn’t concentrate. Can you imagine strapping her in?”
The heat has gotten to high and - in the best Harry Truman tradition - Button has stepped back out of the kitchen an issued an “apology.”
“In that [FHM] article you will see that I talk about Danica Patrick and how great she is on the Indy circuit,” explains Jenson. “I have a huge amount of respect for her, I have a huge amount of respect for anybody competing in motorsport as I know how tough it is, be it women or men.“My comments were made in pure jest during a moment of male banter,” he continues, “and I sincerely regret that so few words, and more importantly the way in which they were written, have caused anybody any offence.
“For anybody this has upset, an I hope that is not too many of you, I apologise.”
Well then, it was just “male banter” and never meant to be heard by females. (even though said to a reporter of a magazine with world-wide distribution) Move along. Nothing to see here it was just “men being men.”
Note the attempt deflect guilt onto the interviewer, it’s not what was said but how it was written. What a hack this guy is! Just think, it took seven days to concoct this tepid disingenous response.
I suggest he make a personnel apology to Capt. Nicole Malachowski, or any one of the 70 like her in the same profession, who experiance about twice the G-force loads he does on a daily basis. (without their boobs attempting to escape out of the cockpit) I suspect she would walk up one side of Button, stomp his ass on the way down the other side. When done with that she would probably take on all the bubble-headed pit lizards Button chooses as “girlfriends.”

Can we all say “back tracking”? He might as well have come out and said “sike.” He’s dug his hole and now he’s going to have to lay in it, perferable in really muddy conditions, but that’s just me.
If it’s “backtracking” I’d say it was a sorry example to follow. I’d also say whoever his agent/publicist is along with the guy with his hand up Button’s back operating that puppet should be fired.
