Michael Schumacher has teamed up with two friends to put Spanish rally legend Carlos Sainz’s son on the right track to formula one. The retired seven time world champion has become a part-owner of the KSM go-kart team, which launched its 2008 campaign this past weekend in Bergheim.

The lads & I were to go to Eastern Creek on Sunday & watch the race. With the rain bucketing down all night we opted to go to the pub & watch it on the big screen. As much as I love my OW the prospect of standing in the mud at Eastern Creek, over a beer & grilled Barramundi at the pub, was just too much.
Great race though, plenty of slides & opposite lock on a slippery track.
In other words a portent of what’s to come when rain meets Britain’s new Golden Boy of F1.

I must still be drunk! It was 17-14. Regardless, a victory for my beloved G-Men. And that’s the last you’ll have to read of it, I swear!
