A1 Grand Prix Dates

The A1 Grand Prix series, which likes to bill itself as the World Cup of Motorsport, has announced 12 events, starting at Branda Hatch in September this year and finishing at the end of March 2006 at the Beijing Goldenport circuit in China. There will be two races at each event.

The calendar is still be confirmed by the FIA. The series will see teams representing 25 nations competing against one another.

The date are as follows:

September 25, Brands Hatch (GB)
October 9, Eurospeedway (D)
October 23, Estoril (P)
November 6, Eastern Creek (AUS)
November 20, Sepang (MAL)
December 11, Dubai Autodrome (UAE)
January 15, TBA (Indonesia/Singapore)
January 29, Durban (ZA)
February 12, Monterrey (MEX)
February 26, San Antonio (USA)
March 12, Laguna Seca (USA)
March 26, Beijing Goldenport (China).

The Durban and Chinese events remain provisional on circuit approval while the Indonesia event is in competition with a proposal from Singapore.
