A1 Grand Prix Team USA Headed to Indy

A1 Team USA, headed by former [avatar:http://cranialcavity.net/files/irl.png]Indy Racing League[/avatar] team owner Rick Weidinger, has announced their involvement in the Indianapolis 500 race on 28 May. A1 Team USA will be joining forces with Dreyer and Reinbold Racing, with two times winner Al Unser Jr flying the stars and stripes of the USA.

  1. As much as I’d love to see Little Al usurp Michael’s chances at winning “The Big One” yet again, at this point in time I think he can talk a good race better than drive one. But stranger things have happened! Not that Michael has a chance of winning either.

  2. Based on what the A1GP Team USA organization did in A1GP I don’t expect much.

    They had brief flashes of pace but nothing that resembled consistency.
