ALMS to be Broadcast Live in Europe

This will bring added exposure, and more importantly will allow many of the constructors and sponsors based in Europe to see live coverage.

All American Le Mans Series races will be televised live in Europe for the first time in 2004, beginning with the 52nd annual Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, in a new television arrangement between the series and MotorsTV, a European television channel dedicated to the world of motorsports.

MotorsTV, which is distributed throughout Europe by both satellite and digital cable, in both English and French, and is one of the fastest-growing channels in Europe, will feature live coverage of all nine rounds of the American Le Mans Series (ALMS), marking the first time in series history that the full season of racing will be televised live in Europe.
