Full Throttle

NASCAR has announced its intention to invite the top independent NASCAR-related Web sites to join a newly formed “NASCAR Citizen Journalists Media Corps.”

Not sure how or why it happened, maybe while in the Arms of Morpheus, or it could have occurred during a moment of malted barley induced euphoria but whatever the cause the end result is the same. I’ve been kidnapped!

The Half-Vast Staff™ of Full Throttle haven’t moved up to the Upper Eastside as George and Louise Jefferson did in the mid-seventies TV Sitcom, but for some reason FT has been booted up the rankings in the Sports Blog Index.

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. If that’s the case, and I believe it is, Kevin Harvick my heartfelt thanks goes out to you for taking my idea and running with it.

As luck would have it you, my loyal readership, won’t have to compromise your ethics or diminish your self-worth this year. Full Throttle and it’s Half-Vast Staff failed to make the final and voting stage of this years Weblog Awards.
