His roots from his SCCA days will see him continuing to attempt to rebuild the status of tracks like Elkhart Lake, Laguna Seca and Mid Ohio as Champ Car sites. The new race in San Jose may be problematic for a return of Laguna Seca, but I am still hopeful for Mid Ohio in '07. We can thank (or blame) Steve Johnson for this.
