Champ Car or Chump Car?
I have always understood the first “C” in CCWS stood for Champ, as in Champ Car World Series.
It’s become increasingly obvious I and the CCWS fans, both of them, have been sadly mistaken.
The “C” stands for Chump. And its two fans out number the media members that cared enough (READ: FAT per diem) to attend Thursday
My God, to think that a series could sink this low since 96 & TG’s vision. If Champ were to fold I only hope someone can rebuild OW in the U.S, because I don’t think TG has the brains to do it, even if his series is the last one standing.
Now Marc, Peter and I (those two remaining CHAMP Car fans you refer to) are willing to ride out the season, give them a chance even if it is a last chance.
As for TG, I’ll be more than curious to see if he reverts to an all oval series once he’s the Emperor of the North Pole. It would serve road racing fans right for not supporting CHAMPS.
