Spot on Luke, and according to Smoke's website he's at Eldora this weekend.

This weekend is the Late Model Dream event, one of his biggest of the year, and he has stated he's making some super-duper most excellent-biggest-ever-announcement about a new Eldora event.

Whatever, I've never been impressed with Mulhern's reporting anyway... and Kenny Bruce, what the hell is a Kenny Bruce?

I don't get it either. I can't see how NASCAR's front office would be, or has been, hoping or expecting either Gordon or Stewart to show up.

When was the last time Jeff ran a Busch/Nationwide race at all? And Tony does it when he wants to, for fun. Using one of the scant few off weekends to go all the way to Mexico City to run a road course doesn't seem to be an appealing way to spend a vacation.

And what crawled up Kenny's backside, I don't know. It doesn't make sense. Unless it's an attempt by the MSM to start steering public opinion/thought on it all from NASCAR to the teams.

Sure, the teams have responsibility in it, but NASCAR has the responsibility to put something out there they can work with.
