Doin’ the Frog March in ARCA

I bet you thought having Jacques Villeneuve entering into stock car competition would make him a Frog Trailblazer. Au contraire mon ami, Jacques was beaten to the starting line.

By a real Frog, from Paris, not a Canuck bred one like Jacques.

  1. Thanks FT…you always add a different perspective vs just reporting the news, which I can read on the major sites.

  2. Mamma always told me I was “different.”

I never knew what she meant till a short wheelbase bus started taking me to school and then everyone was “different.”

  3. i’m not sure calling a quebequois either a frog or a canuck is going to further american/franco/canadian relations at all…and since canuckland is parked pretty much over the territory the russkies just staked their submeranian red white and blue claim on we might want to get it politically correct for a change. eh?

  4. Considering many Canadians call themselves Canucks I feel very much as ease using the term.

As for the rest, you have your opinion and I have mine. We differ, live with it.

  5. Me too, but none from Quebec. I do like the research you do though, and that you aren’t writing about the obvious…subject, series, etc. Is that a pro-female driver stance you take? I don’t really follow ARCA or any but the obvious, but I might start.

  6. “Pro female driver” stance?

No just pro driver, I could care less how many and what type of chromosomes they have.

However I do spend some time pointing out what the “Divas” do on the track. Other than Danica and a couple others most don’t get much note in the press or on blogs.

  7. My bad, that question did sound like it came on the business of the hammer. I think it may be that I sort of caught the “diva” and got confused because the following text didn’t actually sound…like it usually sounds when the description is used so I just had to ask.

I think you like to give note about alot that doesn’t get much note in the press or other blogs. And I’ve typed and deleted a short stories worth of silliness and come down to this: I may or may not be a rabid feminist but, it never actually occurred to me that there are women in motorsport doing what the rest of us do, without Autosport or The NY Times, Racer,Speed, whatever taking an interest-and honestly, that may be a good thing for now. But, I’m still intrigued…and feeling a very little bit guilty.

So, I have an internet connection, I have cable with reception of ESPN, Fox and Speed, any recommondations re: re-education and the obvious suggestion that this blog stay on the favourites?
