DW Finishes 28th at Martinsville…
… a tree falls in the Blue Ridge Mountains… the silence is deafening.
Honestly, can we start a petition or something to have NBC and TNT replace Wally in that State Farm Dodge? Whatever, just keep DW out of the Busch, or any, starting field.
And while I’m ranting, what’s up with Rusty’s progeny Steve, two of the first three cautions were because of his wrecks and spins.
That is all. I feel better now. More later.

Mark - Steve got hit from behind the first time, then cut a tire the second time and spun himself. But, hey, there were 56 cautions, or an average of 3 per lap. Steve was hardly the only racing Saturday who had no business being out there.
And, yeah, it was pretty quiet at Martinsville on Saturday. It rained overnight, the day’s weather forecast was awful (on the way home, I drove through a thunderstorm that had predicted all day) and it was humid to boot. Plus the race was on network TV, so there wasn’t much incentive to go.
I had fun, though.
