Faint-Hearted Praise, and None at All

First a couple quick notes on news that isn’t.

Pluto isn’t a planet. Who knew? Or cared?

And Jeremy Mayfield isn’t going quitely into the night. As everyone expected Bill Davis Racing signed Mayfield to a three year contract to drive the team’s #36 ride and sponsored by 360 OTC

Saw em. Kept on moving.

I found the rep who approached me to be pushy, and acted like I didn’t care about supporting NASCAR. Quite the contrary, and I would have loved nothing more than shooting their theory into the open in their face. However, at the time I had somewhere to be.

I would love nothing more than NASCAR to pull all the Kentucky events and put them elsewhere. I hear there’s a slick deal up outside of Des Moines that has an open weekend or two. Nothing against the Kentucky fans, mind you, but their track owners are Jackasses. Following the precedence set by Bruton Smith, they should be cast into the pit of Hades along with the likes of spammers, and other freaks we don’t need.

Too bad Luke, I would have loved to read a transcript of the potential ~~discussion~~ altercation.

It would have been a hoot!
