Family Ties NASCAR Style

Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet has signed on to sponsor Ben Kennedy in the Fla.-based Advance Auto Parts Pro Truck Series.

Kennedy, the great-grandson of NASCAR founder Bill France Sr. and son of International Speedway Corporation President Lesa France-Kennedy, will run the #96 Silverado based out of Mark Martin Performance in Daytona Beach.

“Ben’s just a great kid with a lot of talent,” said team owner Mark Martin. “He ran really well at New Smyrna last week and brought home a fifth-place finish and I’m excited about working with him as his young racing career continues to grow.”
