Which shouldn’t surprise many if you follow the adventures of Ralf Schumacher closely.

Ralf Schumacher has curtailed plans to invest in a chain of sex shops after he decided that jokes on German television were ruining his reputation.

The Toyota driver has decided not to ’sex-up‘ his life by investing in the Beate Uhse group which has the corporate vision to be: “the universal provider of sex and erotica products… for the entire world.”

Schumacher had announced in Germany last week that he would be investing in a scheme of some two million euros to establish eight sex shops in Slovenia, reports news agency Reuters.“The whole thing has unfortunately been turned into a campaign and being a role model is more important to me than any investment,” German newspaper Bild quoted Ralf on Friday.

Schumacher will not therefore be able to enjoy the spoils from a business which had a predicted turnover for this year of 290 million euros, through providing
