First Luciano Pavarotti, Then Ferrari’s Chances

Tears of a ClownIt’s not a good week to be Italian.

A great voice silenced with the death of Luciano Pavoratti and Ferrari may have seen their last best hope of catching McLaren this season slip away. On their home track.

It doesn’t get much worse than that and you can certainly understand if the Tifosi are caught shedding a few tears.

But it is hard decipher the reason behind the tears streaming down McLaren boss Ron Dennis’ face in parc ferme and on the podium as his two charges celebrated the win.

Were they caused by the win, or were they the result of the ongoing

  1. “Tears of a clown” LOL, I love it! great analogy marc, wish I had thought of it.

BTW, don’t tell me that Max, Luca & Todt were not dancing around the back of the podium singing.

“We made Ronny cry….we made Ronny cry, Nah na nee naah!” :-)

  2. Yeah, sometimes I dazzle myself with my own brilliance Peter.

At other times I just celebrate dumb luck.
