From the “What Were They Thinking” File

AutoSport, how could you! The online version of the popular magazine has decided to give Mad Max Mosley another, and monthly, venue to air his dirty laundry.

Why not let us know what you think by adding your own comment! Your opinion is as valid as anyone elses. (Except mine, it takes precedence over all!)

To the editors of Autosport Magazine:

Your hiring of Max Mosley as a “columnist” is not only self serving but pathetic. The term you should have used is “Communist”. All must serve the common good, and none should excel beyond others. That’s what he wants to turn F1 into.

I will reconsider extending my membership to your service when and if you give an equal voice to a member of the GPMA as a “columnist”. Why call yourself a news organization when you give voice to a one sided blatant propagandist like Mosley? He is interested in only two things; his own ego and preserving Bernie’s deal to sell out to CVC. It makes one suspicious if Max is not a beneficiary in the impending sale!

    Sincerely,

    George E. Katinger

Nice letter George, but you should have left a blank space so we can all sign on.

You might be amused to know Mad Max’s articles will be under the heading of “Grips and Spins,” according to Autosport.

I’m assuming there will be more “spins” than “grips” considering his mental state.

Max Mosley, who once seemed quite a sensible man (at least compared with his predecessor), seems to have lost his marbles of late. Or more likely he’s playing very silly political games. Frozen engine designs, promotion and relegation, no idea too absurd for our Max just now.

It’’s not Autosport that are giving him a column, but print mag F1Racing. Haven’t read it yet, so looking forward to seeing his crazy justifications for whatever rubbish he’s been spouting.

Thanks for the correction Don, as you can tell the very thought of Max sends the brain waves into spasms and creates interference between keyboard and blog post.

    Thanks for stopping by.
