But certainly a neccessary step by NASCAR, Hmiel Suspended Again.

The troubled career of Shane Hmiel took another downward turn on Thursday when the Busch Series driver was suspended for the second time by NASCAR for violating the sanctioning body’s substance abuse policy.

NASCAR officials said Thursday that Hmiel was tested for banned substances after NASCAR Busch Series qualifying at Lowe

does anybody KNOW just what substance(s) Shane abused ,

previously and recently ?

Not that I’am aware of. That information has been kept secret, as it should be. Shane is no different than anyone that goes through some type of rehab that info is always kept private.

There have been a few quotes from people that normally work in the garage areas that noted “strange” behavior by Shane. In addition some of the quotes by Jim Hunter, while not stating the drug, have implied it was something that effected response and reaction times.
