Damn bright idea. Maybe still run qualifying for pit selection, as that is kind of a fun and unique session to watch. 2) Sure, why not? Who said anything about it having to be in a Cup car? Throw em all out there at the same time for a freak show, and see what happens. THAT would be entertaining! 3) Shorter? Less racing for the same price of admission? If there were also separate truck/busch races too, OK. But, as a single main event 100 laps broken up however might be better. That would be a 150 mile event, and not too short or too long. Other tracks? I'm not convinced. It's a big draw to the area, plus it's a "show off" event on the team's (or the vast majority of teams) home turf. Here's an idea...
