I Wanna be a… Lawyer!
There, I said it. And I’m not pulling your leg writ of habeas corpus. Honest!
But there is one caveat, I have to be under retainer to ISC.
According to Scene Daily ISC has spent 4 MILLION dollars in 2006 defending itself against a sham Kentucky Speedway lawsuit and filed by a group that has more problems than any lawyer can solve.
That doesn’t count costs accrued in the final 6 months of 2005 when the suit was first filed. In actuality the 4 LARGE hasn’t bought much to this point. There have only been 3 court appearances over the proper venue and other such legal mumbo-jumbo. The trial itself isn’t set to begin until August of 2007.
So yea, as much as I dislike shysters (oops, better change my ways if I hope for an ISC retainer) So yea, as much as I dislike LAWYERS, I’m seriously thinking of a career change from itinerate auto racing blogger to one of distinction as a highly paid defender of HWSBO!
And rest assured I won’t forget you common folk. Those among you looking to make a fast buck filing “obesity lawsuits” against Micky D’s or becoming a plaintiff in “caffine addiction” class actions against Starbucks feel free to contact me. (after the requisite OK from HWSBO of course)
