IROC: So, I Guess This Means No

After the IROC series never got off the ground last year due to lack of sponsorship, there were a couple sniffs from those hoping to revive the series. But they never materialized.

So I guess this means no, it won’t happen this year either.

A loss for race fans but a bonanza for collectors.

Speaking of erasing history, apparently Teresa has done a little expunging of the record herself. Hardly surprising all things considered, nor is it a shock Max Siegel DEI president would spin, spin, spin away the reasons for it.

  1. No historical evidence of junior at DEI? 17 wins and two Busch titles without any acknowledgment in the facility? Are these people nuts???

I never had much respect for Teresa as a team owner, whatever was left is now totally gone. Not enough bad corporate things (short of on track injuries/fatalities) can happen to these people. As peterg is fond of saying, “A pox upon their house”!

  2. Can’t say I disagree George.

In fact I’d add this is more proof Teresa is a larger witch than even I thought. Any thoughts she was a common everyday witch are gone, she’s got a nuclear powered cauldron she stirs.

This picture that accompanies a Jenna Fryer piece on Teresa seems to confirm it, she’s a Witch. Makes me think the copy editor is of the same mind to select such an unflattering shot.

  3. Oh come on guys, I’m sure DEI did the same thing after Steve Park and John Andretti left.

    Very strange.

  4. Very good Mike, satire becomes you!
