Jacques Villeneuve’s Job Search is Over
Fear not Jacques Villeneuve fans, after a aborted disastrous NASCAR ownership attempt, an aborted NASCAR driving stint, a short but successful stop as a Le Mans chauffeur and an uneventful stop in the Speedcar Series, Le BeBe’s job search has finally ended.
Being self-employed can be classified as “finding a job” right?
The former world champion Jacques Villeneuve has set up a driving academy, in a partnership with the ICAR complex in Montreal.
“Setting up my own, high-performance driving school is a great opportunity to give back to racing,” said Villeneuve, the 1997 Formula 1 world champion.
“I chose ICAR because of its ultramodern infrastructures and because their vision and their values perfectly aligned with my own.”
“Along with ICAR, my goal is to transmit my passion for racing and to increase the quality of experience for all the racing fans from around the world, whether they are beginners or experienced professionals.”
Well glad to see Le BeBe back on his feet again - no really! - even if he does have to sign his own paycheck to do so.
Look at the bright side, this may keep him out of the recording studio. That can only make the world a better place.
It does beg one question before I go. Who’s going to teach the teacher?

Prerequisites for attending the academy: Whining 101, Finger pointing 101, and insulting your co-driver 101. Besides the studio I hope his business laso keeps himn out of any kind of racing series.
If this succeeds I predict his next big public racing impact will be attempting to promote and manage some wunderkind he “discovered” and mentored into F1. And swiftly take all credit for whatever this person achieves.

Nah, I didn’t forget it, just discounted it after Le BeBe was quick to point out how the wifey , and definitely his better half, didn’t want to move out of Canada, or at least N. America.
