Jeremy Mayfield Gets Second “Winless” Win in Court

As opposed to the first win-less win of course.

U.S. District Court Judge Mullen has ruled against NASCAR’s request to sanction a former attorney for suspended driver Jeremy Mayfield for an affidavit that misrepresented the background of a Texas drug-testing laboratory operator.

Mullen also denied NASCAR’s request for Mayfield to pay for the sanctioning body’s defense against assertions tied to the affidavit.

The affidavit was from Harvey MacFenerstein, who has said there were mistakes in his credentials and is no longer being used by the Mayfield legal team.

It has to be said, Jeremy is two-fer-two in win-less wins. That’s gotta be worth something.

And they called me stupid when I said John Buric had a large bus about to run him over. As we’ve seen this week the entire legal team headed by Bill Diehl has been hit be the same bus and replaced by high-profile attorney Mark “Media Whore” Geragos.

Lotsa luck with that.
