The only reason to race the #23 is to build owner points towards a triumphant 2008 season for Bill Lester(what do you mean he's not with BDR anymore!?). I know both are not contenders for the Chase at this time, but hopefully (hope springs eternal) at some point in the future they could be a contender and wouldn't it be ashame to miss the Chase because they were replaced by a ringer at a road course. Or, in the futures they had not developed skills for road racing and missed the Chase by 5 points or less because of one abysmal finish, you guessed it at a road course.
