Full Throttle

A lot can happen in the 6 remaining Chase events. A lot that can keep Jimmie Johnson from sweeping to his third Cup championship in succession.

But one thing’s for sure, a lot has already happened in his favor including his two wins, and a bundle of luck that saw him eek out a top ten and escape Talladega with a larger points lead than he went in with.

That my friends is called The Luck every driver on the circuit wishes for. Not the least of which would be Chase drivers that ended Sunday’s festivities with wadded-up race cars.

On a more serious note, Denny Hamlin was kept under observation overnight at a hospital in Birmingham, an update on his status is expected from the team Today.
