Just What NASCAR Doesn’t Need, a Porn Connection

As if there hasn’t been enough controversy during the 2005 season. The last thing the sanctioning body, and sport, needs is even the slightest connection to the porn industry.

People Magazine, who else, has the story and connection.

  1. (Gasp!) The Media lies? Say it isn’t so!

Edited to add lines for page fomatting - ed.

  2. OK Antonette I’ll say it - it ain’t so!

    But it is true. :D,

I still remember the media bruhaha that resulted when Dale Jr. did the Playboy photo shoot with the Dahm triplets. The noise didn’t stop for about 2 months!

If they can find a way to twist this story into an anti-NASCAR article they certainly will. Facts be damned.

  3. What Busch did to Rousch verges on pornography; what Rousch did to Busch verges on pornography; what Roush did to Ganassi verges…..

    Need I go on?

Maybe naked ladies weren’t involved but “dirty” deeds done, none the less!

  4. How about what the IRL Champ did to AGR? Is that a form of Porn? I’d say so, if he thinks Ganassi’s change to Honda power will make a difference he’s dreaming.

    More “porn.”

France’s announcement of team limits during the Chase and under a microscope because of 5 Roush teams in the Chase.

The Car of the Future, as the Big Three are bleeding cash, closing plants and taking heat over fuel mileage France wants to give the factories another incentive to cut back on support for NASCAR teams.

  5. How about what AGR did to Wheldon? They offered Dario a bigger contract then they offered the reigning series AND Indy 500 winner. THAT is truly obscene.

Here’s hoping Dan gets to stick it to AGR next year, that is if there’s an IRL season.
