Sorry Marc, can’t go along with your “team order” conspiracy theory. And you know I am the king of conspiracists! No doubt that the Renault pit wanted Fisi to move over for Alonso, but the way the message went out was beyond reproach. They could have been talking about any other driver on the track. The fact that Fisi obligingly moved over was very considerate!
Ah huh! And Fisi just happens to be the next car ahead of Alonzo at the time of the transmission.
Ok… would you care to invest in a little trans-Pacific Ocean bridge I’ve got cooked up? It’s a great scheme and only $100 bucks a share.
Are you in?
You missed my point: I agree it was an intended direction, but the way it was handled is beyond reproach and provable. They didn’t “order” Fisi to move over, they told Alonzo he was faster, so pass Fisi. Beutifully executed in my opinion.
Oh I agree on the point George, it was “Beautifully executed.”
It’s called plausible deniability. Sort of like “it depends on what your definition of IS, is.”
