Kitsap County: A Heavyweight Steps From the Shadows
The proposed ISC track for Kitsap County, Washington gained a political heavy weight’s support Thursday.
As Steven Gardner notes Lt. Gov. Brad Owen, who is long thought to be in favor of the speedway, made his stance official yesterday in a request for legislation that would create the funding mechanism for the speedway.
Owen said that while ISC is working closely with local officials on a site proposed near Bremerton, the legislation is not specific to that location.
