Tom, don't be sorry for writing so much, that's what the comment section is for.

Yates? No sure what the problem is over there but top tens have been very sparse for a few years. I doubt if a change in drivers will help.

As far as the cable/wire cam goes I could care less, unless it is vastly improved. In fact the first week it was in operation I put it in the Cesspool because it was so poorly done. And BTW, the Network pays for it not NASCAR. And they need to see the cable cam work done in Formula One. Their setup is phenominal.

Thanks Kevin, maybe that is the reason for that display. I do remember in the past seeing sponsors logos on the crawl. But failed to note any Saturday night, just the "Go Dale Go." Could be the mistake was leaving off the logo.

Because of that my mind centered on a Dale Jr. fan in the graphics dept. Either way it's wrong. Besides, someone has to cough up the cool $20 mil DJ will be getting from Waltrip and Toyota.

That cash isn't picked from a G-note bush. It will get filtered down to the public one way or another.

just an FYI, the "go dale go" is a by product of UPS sponsoring the ticker or whatever you would call that thing, this isn't the first time it has appeared, i'm sure it's been there all year. i watch that thing more than most people i'm sure, i can't say for sure it's been there all year, but it has been there for awhile. and i guess the only real problem i have with that is, fox sells more and more advertising for any part of their broadcast they can sell, yet we still have a billion commercials.

Do you mean I wasn't the only one noticing these things during the race. I was getting pretty sick and tired of hearing about the Darlington Stripe and you are right, noone really earns one nowadays but I guess that gives the guys up in the booth something to talk about during the dead time, which there was quite a bit of in last nights race.

Oh, another thing I noticed, since you spoke about the oil pump belts, what is up with the Yates boys (Dale & Elliott)? I mean RYR and Roush both use the same engines but do you see the Yates cars up front? No! I think Roush and Yates should share cars along with the engines, maybe that would help the Yates organization. Probably one of the reasons DJ went to Toyota and Yates is fearing they will lose Elliott to Toyota.

Oh, why didn't they have the wire cam at the race? I would think it would be at every race, it is a nice addition and it isn't like NASCAR can not afford it.

I will be happy to see ESPN/ABC as announcers in 2007. I know they are taking the place of NBC but maybe they should reconsider, it gets tiresome to hear the constant mistakes made in the booth about what the heck is going on on the track.

Well sorry to write so much.

Have a great night.
