Lewis Hamilton Guilty of “Perjury”
Lewis Hamilton and McLaren have been disqualified from last week’s Australian Grand Prix after race stewards decided that the reigning world champion had deliberately misled them when providing evidence about an incident that saw him passed by Jarno Trulli during a safety car period.
Toyota’s Jarno Trulli was reinstated to his original third-place finish by the stewards, while Hamilton and McLaren were excluded from the results and receive no points.
Hamilton, the reigning F1 champion, was deemed to have deliberately misled F1 officials - also known as lying out of his ass - when providing evidence about an incident that saw him passed by Jarno Trulli during a safety car period.
More later, for the time being I’d have to guess Speed TV’s Adam Cooper just got axed from Hamilton’s Christmas card list.

Check out Martin Whitmarsh’s response:
He’s asked over and over whether McLaren and Hamilton “lied.” He keeps denying that “deliberately misled” means “lied.” Maybe someone should send him a dictionary.
Amazing.
Or my post.
BTW Doug, by keeping up with F1 don’t you risk having your NASCAR Nation visa revoked?
Liasr, liar pants on fire!! :-||
Why am I not suprised, this is McLaren afterall.
;-(
As for accountability, read the transcript of this Q&A with CEO Whitmarsh & you will be speechless.

That is about as Blagojevich “I did nothing wrong” as you can get.
So that’s McLaren’s story, what of Lewis standing up to his minders? Why play along in the stewards meeting? A very, highly developed sense of self entitlement…..pure & simple! Somehow I’m not surprised; he has been edging around this trait in virtually every interview since entering F1.
LATEST NEWS:-
Typical, shoot the messenger! Now Dave Ryan, McLaren’s sporting director is facing the sack, he has already left the Malaysian paddock.
If the team wants no part of Ryan because of his handling of the Oz/Trulli affair, what is their stance on the Golden Child? You can’t have it both ways. Besides, Whitmarsh has nailed his colours to the mast with his repeated denials to the same question of whether lies were told or not.
Jebus Ron, you step down as CEO & the boys screw up big time at the first race without you

I wish I could of been a fly on the wall in Max Mosley’s office while he was reading all the public outcry. He must have laughed his knickers off. Well, er, um, he probably laughed his ass off in as much as his knickers are probably always down anyway.
You support a team all these long years, not wanting to believe any of the shady stuff they are accused of and BANG, you’re left defenseless in the face of this kind of thing.
Sad, very sad, beyond disappointing.
My NASCAR Nation credentials seem to still be valid … even after I asked Kyle Busch a question about F1 during a press conference at Atlanta.
Bruce McLaren must be spinning in his grave.
