Losses Keep Mounting for “Littlest Perv” Mosley
The list is getting longer for the future former head of the FIA. The Littlest Perv has lost another round in the legal system of the EU.
A judge in Paris said Tuesday it was not within his jurisdiction to ban an Internet video of The Littlest Perv with prostitutes, but he ordered the French recall of newspapers containing photos of the scene.
Judge Joel Boyer said he couldn’t ban access to website of the British tabloid the News of the World, which had carried a video with images of the scene, because the site is owned and based in Britain. Mosley’s lawyer, Philippe Ouakrat, had requested the site be restricted in France because the FIA, the governing body for motorsports that Mosley heads, is based in Paris.
“The mere fact that this site is accessible from France — like all others on the Web — is not enough to justify French jurisdiction,” Boyer wrote.

What is Max hoping to achieve? The genie is well & truly out of the bottle & EVERYBODY has seen, or heard about, the video. Clown! What has me intrigued is his self conviction that he will swing the EGM in his favour. Max must believe that his powers of persuasion will win over a majority of the FIA delegates. Talk about self belief; he really is the motorsport equivalent of Geoffrey Archer.
BTW, I did a search on Google for the video, not only is at NOTW it is also featured at a Israeli site…………………..try asking those guys to remove it Max! June 3rd cant come quick enough for me.
The NOTW reposted the video the same day as the U.K’s court ruled against Mosley.
If there are 222 delegates all Max has to do is convince (or blackmail and/or purchase) the votes of a simple majority (112 votes) to keep his precious job.
I expect a possible compromise where they may leave him as the titular president of the FIA but appoint a “working” interim president to assume the day to day and ceremonial work of the office.
I’d much prefer his immediate expulsion with extreme prejudice, that’s all the SOB deserves.
June 3rd is going to be a red letter day, either Max is booted out the door (which I think will happen) or we will end up with the compromise George suggests. Will there be a revolution at the FIA…hmmmm.
Max’s refusal to budge & live with the public shame is unbelievable. I can’t wait to see if he shows his face at Turkey or Monaco, the ridicule from the stands will be thunderous. As for the paddock, the fear he has instilled shows that his position in the sport was one of unaccountable power.
If Theissan or Haug were to bump into him you would have to think they would give him a verbal spray, he had the temerity to reply to the BMW/Merc announcement with a “You should have spoken to me first”. Renault has been strangely quiet, I wonder where Carlos Goshn is on the matter (French? Hard to tell).
I hope he is terminated, this has become a unnecessary distraction & I would dearly like to see him forcibly ejected from his throne.
I see in the last few hours he has reiterated his intention to stay until after the 2009 season.
