Speaking of the Masters, Alan Jones-some would say arrogantly- turned up at the first race totally out of condition, his fitness level showed he was not up to it & he has not been seen since. He complained particularly about his neck giving out; I’m all for these events but not if the driver is going to embarrass himself. Emmo has me awe struck at how he is still pedalling a car, he is of Jackie Stewart’s era & still racing in anger.
Emmo is an amazing guy isn’t he? It’s a shame son Christian hasn’t seen the same success. The Kyalami dice between Mansell and Emmo put the “other GP Series” to shame.
Maybe the more “enviromentally friendly” F1 of the future will provide more competition.
