Martin Beats Busch For IROC Win
Scott Pruett led the All-Star field of drivers under the green to start Round 3 of the Crown Royal International Race of Champions. World of Outlaws legend Steve Kinser took the lead on lap one, running a high line around Pruett. Behind him, anxious drivers battled 3 and 4 wide all around the track.
It all went wrong on lap 3 when Buddy Rice dove under Steve Kinser who was also under Bobby Hamilton. Kinser

OK, not a boy, lol. But I’m woman enough to place the bet.
I’m going with if he wins the championship, he still comes back. Everybody knows why he’s running another season, and it’s not because he’s still trying to hang on. He’s doing it for his team, which is admirable. So, I say no.
There is little doubt Mark feels a great deal of allegience to Jack Roush.
Martin struggled early in his career, in fact aborted one attempt in NASCAR and returned to ASA, then was picked up by Jack. The rest is history, winningest driver in Busch, about to win his fifth IROC championship (another record) and probably the most accomplished NEXTEL Cup driver never to have won a championship in that series.
Many have said, including Martin, that he ows everything to Jack. The reverse is also true and that’s what I base my prediction on. Jack owes Martin alot, somehow if the elusive crown gets placed on Martin’s head this year Jack will find a way to let Mark go even if it means a temp driver.
