Max Mosley Speaks !
He speaks mostly nonsense and is in full spin control mode but at least he’s not hiding under a desk somewhere. Keep my preceeding entry in the back of your mind when Max speaks of rules and how they must be followed.
What about the American fans who travelled long distances and spent a lot of money to see a race with only 6 cars?
My personal view, and it is only my personal view, is that Michelin should offer to compensate the fans on a fair basis and ask the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to coordinate this. Then Tony George and Bernie Ecclestone should jointly announce that the US Grand Prix will take place at Indianapolis in 2006 and that anyone who had a ticket this year would be entitled to the same ticket free-of-charge next year. But I emphasise, that

totally reasonable answers and they made perfect sense. whoever is asking the questions must have been an idiot, repeating the same questions about fairness, safety, and rule changing. it’s so silly because the situation is very clear. michelin messed up, and the michelin teams created a farce. end of story.
Why be labled an idiot when asking three of the most important issues (about fairness, safety, and rule changing) in this matter. The FIA had the power to still give the fans in the stands and the world audience a reasonable show.
Through a lack of courage they didn’t. The FIA has had a record of only following their own rule book when it has been politically expediant for them. You should have taken my advice and read the preceeding entry to this one, it details one of many times the FIA skirted rules to suit themselves and to hell with everyone else.
