I agree on your assessment of Mika’s comment.
Mika and Michael’s retirements will have nothing in common. Mika quit due to his own doubts relative to his diminished skills and desire. The heart ususally goes before the abilities fade. Michael may quit for the same reason, but I think it will be due to a non competitive package at Ferrari.
If Ferrari can’t fight for wins, and Schumi still has the eye of the tiger for competition he just may make that jump to McLaren or BMW I dream about. I think it will be McLaren (Vodafone) or BMW just because of the teutonic (not to mention titanic!) marketing potential, and a top team to go to. I DO expect BMW to fight for podiums and wins in ‘07.
