Monday’s Blog Tales
A couple notes on blogs that have popped up in the last few days.
The first, VroomChatter, made it’s appearance in my WP dashboard (because he linked to FT’s humble abode) a few days ago. “VroomDude” has been around since… well since this month, but first my impression is he will be interesting to read during the 2007 NASCAR season.
The second blog is a part of the Hardcard Holdings website. Hard as it may be to believe the Half-Vast Staff

Marc: The dude at Scott Motorsports has reposted a ton of content from different places. I’d suspect that, since he didn’t ask you, he hasn’t asked them either.
I’m trying to figure out how to flag blogger and let them know what he is up to.
Thieving swine!! he is on my blacklist.I shall not even visit the site.
Marc,
Sorry for posting your article.
I thought it was OK as long as I gave credit to you.
I was wrong and I apologize.
It will not happen again.
Doug Scott
None too happy about it myself Peter.
It’s common practice to excerpt sections of work that is under copywrite to comment on and also provide a link back to the original.
In this case he took to entire post, implied it was OK via his thank you but never asked for permission.
Doug, obviously I’m glad you deleted the post and hope you have learned something. However, as Carrie notes you have a lot of content that may not be all yours. The copywrite and Fair Use rules are very easy to locate on the web, I suggest you do a bit of research.
