NASCAR and Ostrich Leather?
NOTE: An apology is in order to all one of my fans for the outage of Full Throttle. It seems my “illustrious” host decided it was better to piss me off than it was to provide the prompt service normally required while under some semblance of a contract.
That said, the ole homestead is back up, at least for the moment, and with any luck my host will soon be hitting the ashcan of historical records. (More widely known as The Shitter.)
Now as to the title of this nonsense, if refers to the video provided below. Several of Top Gear’s ex-presenters, including Quentin Willson, Tiff Needell and Vicki Butler-Henderson were hired by Britain’s Five (TV channel) to present Fifth Gear a motorsport centered show.
Specifically Tiff Needell “stars” in the video as he and a compatriot attended the Daytona 500, and much hilarity (hence the Ostrich leather) and some very complimentary remarks followed.

That was a good piece and as much as Tiff is a total prat the story was well balanced & well presented. Had Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson been behind the mike the whole thing would have been dripping with sarcasm.
And to think that Autosport voted Tiff the better driver in Brit F3 when competing with a certain Nigel Mansell.
It is a pretty balanced report.And what’s wrong with a little satire and sarcasm? I love Jeremy, mostly.
Tiff as a driver, no he’s not better or close to the Nige, but Vicki Butler-Henderson? That’s whole ‘nother story. Give her a underweight and over powered anything and she’s a terror.
Oh she is mad, I saw her throw a tail snappy Lambo V12 around one time & she has got balls, she took the damn thing to full opposite lock, full throttle without a care in the world.
Clarkson? I love the bastard!!! But if he had been doing a NASCAR story it would not have been remotely balanced.
