Gee Okla... you could have at least mentioned the winner of that event, Jim Paschal.

Not to mention Ralph Moody of Holman & Moody fame.

And BTW.... "Lee Petty dismounts his car in disgust on the 32nd lap, climbs the flagstand, grabs the red flag from the official starter, and waves the scheduled 100-mile NASCAR Grand National race at Tulsa, Okla., to a halt. Dusty conditions blinded the drivers and Petty acted on his own to prevent a catastrophe. The race is never completed or rescheduled."

Even Oklahoma City hosted a NASCAR event in 1956. and that HAS to be a 'legit' event as Lee Petty, Herb Thomas and Fireball Roberts raced that day.

What a world....what a world!
