NCTS is the Name, Green-White Checker is the Game
For the third straight event the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Texas Motor Speedway ended under a Green-White finish. This weeks winner in the dash for cash was defending series champion Todd Bodine as he beat Mike Skinner to the checkered flag.
Bodine’s run the the checker wasn’t without incident. Bodine took the lead on the 163rd laqp of the scheduled 167 after making contact with Travis Kvapil going into the first turn.
“I hate that. That’s not how I wanted to win. Travis is a great kid,” Bodine said. “You can only block one direction. … That’s the nature of the beast. I had fresh tires. I was going to go high, he blocked me. We went to the bottom, he was still down there. It’s a shame.”
Only six trucks finished on the lead lap, with Rick Crawford third, followed by Ron Hornaday Jr., hometown favorite David Starr and Travis Kvapil.

I don’t get a chance to catch many of the truck races, but I did get to see alot of it last night. When I do get the chance, I enjoy the truck races and I liked last nights as well.
