NCTS: ThorSport, No Cash or New Beau?

According to Yahoo Sports Willie Allen, winner of the 2007 NCTS Rookie of the Year award is out of a job. They attribute the story to Allen’s website however I didn’t see anything related to him leaving ThorSport Racing.

If true I can only see a couple reasons for not offering him a 2008 contract, 1) his cash supply in the form of sponsorship has run dry or, 2) ThorSport has another driver in mind to be a teammate to Matt Crafton.

Either way it’s a pretty shabby way to treat the reigning Rookie of the Year.
