No Quid Pro Quo to See, Move Along
Nothing to see here.
Move along, what you may think is Quid pro quo for previous actions taken are nothing more than a free and open marketplace. (Wanna buy a bridge? Cheap! The market is over saturated)
Fernando Alonso is reportedly off to Ferrari next season in a

As much as I would like to see Max hung from the highest yardarm he does make a good point about Jackie Stewart. I’m amazed how many journo’s go running to him for an opinion over the years. Ok, he won 3 WC’s…..well Prost won four! But I don
That planet F1 story of FA going to Ferrari smells to high heaven. It’s got too many pieces on the chess board moving. FA to Ferrari, Massa to Toyota, Todt out the door, Brawn in the door. There is no way such a series of moves could occur at the same time & be kept secret.
And so?
Would you rather listen to Posh Spice and her nonUS-performing hubby? Same thing in my book.
BTW, is Pop’s getting rev’d up for the Grand Final this coming weekend? Psst… don’t tell him my cash is on the Melbourne Storm. (if memory serves he’s Manly man)
Wow, where do I start?
1. Why not Massa at Toyota? They have enough of Ferrari’s “intelectual property”, why not a driver who knows how to set up the car?
2. Alonso will help turn any team around, as long as he’s an uncontested No.1 driver. He will build a team similar to Schumi, albeit with a different latin motivation and impetus. Rather than Toyota, I’d love to see him got to Honda.
3. I don’t think it unreasonable for Ferrari to dump Le Toad and bring in Ross.
4. I do think it unworkable for Fred and the Kimster to get along on the same team and compete as equals. Fred won’t put up with it, and Kimi won’t setle for No. 2.
5. Ron can’t affford to let Fred sit idle and pay his salary. He’ll be gone with or without a settlement from his next team.
Oh, and Peter? With your head so far up Maxi-pads (thank you tims) keester these days, is it any wonder your opinions of Sir Jackie are so befuddled? Come out for an ocaissional breath of air, you’ll find it invigorating!
Hmmmm… what George said!
A Honda without a Jense?!
Sure lets make it happen, I can find someones else to pick on. There’s always Villeneuve in NASCAR.
Buwawawawahahaha!!
Maxi-pads!
Much, much better than Mad Max. Here George… I salute you… (B)
Howdy,
Has any of you heard of Reality Racing? It is a reality tv show where average people compete in a series of races and was aired on late night cable tv last year. It seems that the show is making a comeback and I was hoping that some one could point me in the direction to sign up.
many thanks,
paul
pod talk paul - remember Google is your friend.
You can probably find your answer at Spike TV, it looks like they will be having sign-ups for season two “soon.”
Actually Marc, I kind of adopted Melb Storm when they started (I was working in Melb at the time) Dad is a die hard Bunnies fan, & Mum & my Grand Dad are the Manly fans.
BTW, this will be my last post at FT, that nasty George from FM is casting crude rumours about my head being up the rear end of Reichs Furher Mosley. If you as moderator will tolerate such insults I shall have to take my motorsport knowledge elsewhere.
sulking now! sob sob.
Oh yeah sure! Now you claim them. As they prepare for the Grand Final.
And BTW isn’t “kind of adopted” like kind of pregnant?
But what about my VOTES. The trip to VEGAS!
But if you do decide to go make sure you yell “good-by cruel world” and jiggle the handle on the flushy thing so the water don’t run!

Nobody picks on JYS when I’m around. When will everybody learn? If you point a microphone, vidcam whatever at a racecar driver/ex racecar driver/human being with a pulse they will listen because they assume, quite rightly, someone will listen. Lauda, Prost, Stewart,Hill,J Villenueve…name me a year since any of them retired that you haven’t seen them asked about something that they didn’t give a quote on?
peterg…that’s how you make fun profitable, capitalize on your achievements and retire comfortably and preferably not doing jigsaw puzzles at the local park-the grannie’s station. It’s what we’d all like to do.
