No Resolution to ISC Kentucky Lawsuit
U.S. District Judge William Bertelsman had a couple issues on his plate Monday related to the NASCAR/ISC Kentucky Speedway anti-trust lawsuit.
On the first, a summary judgment based on insufficient evidence proving NASCAR and ISC worked together to deprive Kentucky of a Cup date, (according to ISC’s shysters) Judge Bertelsman failed to issue a ruling. The Judge kicked that can down the street to January at the earliest.
On the second issue Bertelsman had even less to say. He told to two parties to grab a keg, a few buckets of chicken, a steaming pot of Kentucky Burgoo and mediate!
What there is to mediate when one side says “hell no” and the other requires a private business to sell 8 of its 12 properties I don’t have the foggiest notion, but I guess Judge Bertelsman thinks something can be hammered out.
Or the good Judge had a tee time to catch and tossed them all out of the courtroom.
