Pains Me to Say It, But Max Mosley is Right

Pains Me to Say It, But Max Mosley is Right

I’m going to be sent to Hell wearing a suit of gasoline, or Biofuel, for saying this, but for what may be once within recent memory Max “The Littlest Perv” Mosley is correct about something. It may be the Broken Clock Effect but it is what it is.

After a couple years pontificating that F1 should be a platform for technology that can be transferred to street vehicles, and to that end instituting all manner of changes to include some type of alternative fuel usage, he’s apparently had an epiphany over the use of Biofuels in F1.

His change of heart may have something to do with Virgin Group’s Sir Richard Branson coming on the scene and almost immediately touting Boifuels for F1 usage and points to his Virgin Atlantic jumbo jet flight using Brazilian babassu nuts and coconuts as fuel and proof of concept.

I have little doubt Sir Richard is now viewed by Mosley as Usuper Numero Uno to his mighty kingdom, such as it is. Whatever the cause Mosley has pooh-poohed any ideas of certain Biofuels being in F1’s future.

“We’re obviously just starting with serious efforts on the environment in Formula 1,” said Mosley. “The danger is people get carried away with new ideas for environmentally friendly motorsport, the most obvious one being biofuel.

“We now all understand the first generation biofuels are actually a negative in that what you’re effectively doing is taking fuel away from people. The source of the first generation biofuels is the same as food and, when you’ve got one billion people in the world who don’t have enough to eat, it’s really not a good thing to do.

“The Littlest Perv” has obviously been prepped by one of his minions or been reading news accounts himself of sky-rocketing food prices world-wide as more and more corn is diverted to use as Biofuel.

In summation, I feel chastened, but no where near humbled to admit for once the little Troll is right.

  1. Pains Me to Say It, But Max Mosley is Right.

It will pain you even more when you bend over & cop your paddling for agreeing with the dickhead.

You (& Max) are of course correct though.

  2. Only if you can wield the paddle Peter.

  3. EEEUUUGGHH!! I feel so used!

  4. I had a relevant comment to offer until I read the above and, er, um, uh, it just sort of evaporated.

According to Max, HE is the only one who can propose ANYTHING of benefit to anyone. If someone else thinks oof it first it can’t be a good idea. Please ask him HOW spending cash on a KERS device could possibly save any of the teams money when that is Max’s “next big thing”?

  5. A mind is an easy thing to waste George.

And so is a good paddling.
