Red Bull: These Papers are Made for Walking
With all due respect for Nancy Sinatra, these boots papers are made for walking.
Red Bull general manager Jay Frye has fired the culprit behind Brian Vickers “Weight Watchers” program.
“It was an isolated incident and somebody made the decision without the appropriate people knowing,” Frye said. “These people are good veteran guys. They should have known better. They just made a poor decision. “There’s too much at risk and NASCAR has very much of a zero tolerance on these cars. We know that.”
Contrary to published reports the sheetmetal wasn’t acid dipped, the car was constructed utilizing a skin that was of a “thinner grade” than allowed and resulted in a savings of 2-3 pounds.
