You Canucks?

That remark only proves your clueless as to who you're talking to.

I'm American, been a NASCAR fans since the Wide World of Sport 30 day delayed broadcasts. Attended my first race at Daytona in 1964 and have over 200 events attended since.

The only Canadian commenting in this thread is 4ever3 and I'd hazard a guess he knowns far more about NASCAR than you.

Moreover, no one is saying not to let them race. What most are saying is Gordon was WAY out of line in his actions. He decided he was bigger than The Man, he's not, and never will be.

You Canucks are always 7 steps behind on your nascar. All the negative remarks about Robby Gordon just proves that you don't understand what cup racing is all about. If you would have been following cup 10 or more years ago you would understand the agressive racing part of the sport. thats when drivers were allowed to drive (DALE) and not the 8 car as you know it. Robby is really the last true american racer, owner, driver, and loves racing and not the paycheck...All these big money drivers don't really understand that passion because they are sucked up at a young age by the big money teams.. It is truely destroying the sport...Let them race!!!! GEO. BRISTOL

Marc,
"Whether he was rightfully in the lead at the point is moot. He could have accepted the decision made at the time and sorted it out later."

No, if he was rightfully in the lead IS the point. If you are in the lead and NASCAR takes you out of the position you should be in, then it's not possible to be awarded the win after the race is over. Saying that it can be sorted out later is simply impossible.
I agree it should have been sorted out later, but it should have been quite the reverse. Let them finish in the order they were racing and then sort it out afterward, and if they then penalize him after everyone has had their chance to present their evidence for and against, then they could have taken the win away and given it to whoever was behind. They take wins away after races, but they've never awarded a win to someone that should have got it.

He passed into the lead under the green and should have been put back there when he got punted going into the yellow.

Those of us long time, loyal NACAR fans have seen Roggy Gordon sorry act for years. He is a whiner, cannot take correct criticisam and races as only he knows the rules and no other racers are of any value. NASCAR is over due to park him on the sidelines. He is a hazard to all racers.

Being a good race car driver means being in control. It's obvious that Robby Gordon hasn't a clue. Too bad the media is going to play his "they done me wrong" litany for the next week or so. Hopefully NASCAR will have none of it.

Good point Bob, not only did Harvick get parked his infraction occurred in a different series than the one he was parked in.

I didn't see the event, however he as well as everyone knows a black flag is just that a black flag, obey it or risk not being scored.

Whether he was rightfully in the lead at the point is moot. He could have accepted the decision made at the time and sorted it out later. Instead he decided to be an on track race steward.

Peter... agreed, the only NASCAR events he is competitive in are the road track ones and goes and screws them up on many occasions.

I have always been of the opinion his temperament is better suited for the RC events and in the SCORE off-road events in the desert where aggressiveness is rewarded.

I'm tired of Robby's snotty little boy act. Harvick got parked for a Cup race at Martinsville for less than what Robby did, let's hope that NASCAR does not ignore that precedent.

Robby 'bloody" Gordon...enough said.

Robby's ability to screw up never ceases to amaze me. Look at the beautiful way he managed his Champ car career.
