Rowdy Dominates, Keselowski Has Drive of the Day
Kyle Busch may have been dominating Saturday by leading the most laps and winning his third consecutive NNS event at Texas but it was JR Motorsports’ driver Brad Keselowski who sent a message the #88 would be a force to be reckoned with.
Keselowski, forced to start 42nd in a backup car. drove through the field for third following the second place Tony Stewart. Stewart was forced to make late run from seventh with four new tires after a caution on lap 188 but as happened so often as the green flew Rowdy checked out.
Highest placed rookie was Penske Racing’s Justin Allgaier who started 11th and finished 10th. It was Allgaier’s 3rd top ten of the year and moves him up to 5th in the points standings.
