Smack Me in the Puss With a Dead Cod!

Never saw this one coming?

Wait, save that Cod for lunch, I saw it coming.

Robby Gordon Motorsports and Gillett Evernham Motorsports have announced that they have agreed to terms for resolution of the issues growing out of proposed plan to merge the two Sprint Cup teams.

Disagreements over the merger led to the recent filing of a lawsuit to have the court determine the parties’ rights under the merger agreement. As part of the resolution, the lawsuit will be dismissed and the merger will not proceed.

UPDATE: I spoke too soon, get that Cod fish back out.

Never saw Gordon’s single car operation having a worth of $23.5 million. This for a team that is slowly sinking out of sight in the points standings - yes I know what else is new.

So the end story is he would have gotten nearly 24 LARGE, a FOUR year drivers contract with GEM and possibly a seat on the GEMs board of directors.

All gone because, as his want, his mouth writes a check his ass can’t cash.

Dim-bulb doesn’t cover it. More like total blackout!

  1. Jebus Marc! Careful with those headlines. I read that & thought Max had been caught on tape again.

    Aaahhh Robby Gordon….enough said.

  2. Sorry, it was that headline or “Robby FCKD-up again!”

I decided to go lite on him this time.

  3. We will miss him when he is gone, there will be little to mock.

Robby reminds me of a dog the family once had, harmless enough, but never quite got a handle on the whole fetch the stick thing.

You would throw it & he would chase it, but returning it to you, so you could throw it again, was beyond him…….even though he wanted to chase it again.

When he wasn’t getting under foot, he just stood there trying to look like he knew what he was doing. A lot like Robby!

  4. You’ve done all self-respecting dogs a great dis-service!
