Never one to let a good conspiracy go to waste, up to and including manufacturing a few myself, even I stand puzzled, amazed hell Gobsmacked even, at the level of nuttiness that has arisen in the aftermath of the Daytona 500.

NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. told the press that meeting the fans at Sprint Sound and Speed Fan Festival Presented by SunTrust helps him feel like the 2009 racing season is ready to begin. Earnhardt Jr. joined other drivers and country performers in Nashville for the annual event.
